Nitecore i4 Battery Compatibility

Clearly, the forefront of your mind when debating getting the Nitecore i4 will be its compatibility with different vape batteries. Unlike earlier models, the new i4 supports 3.7V (for lithium ion) and 4.35V battery types. Use the V button on the right of the front panel to quickly set charging voltage in each slot by hand. Vape Battery Status Detection

The Nitecore i4 contains a built-in micro processor that is capable of not only identifying the battery types placed within the charging station, but can also determine what type of charging voltage and current is required to begin charging them. 

Active Current Distribution

This advanced technology allows the i4 to monitor the charging levels of all four batteries at once; and when one battery has reached a complete charge, the Nitecore i4 will identify its charging completion, immediately cease all power to the full battery, and will transfer all charging to the remaining batteries, perfect for vape batteries from devices that are all at varying levels of charge.

Reverse Polarity Protection

We all make silly mistakes when we're distracted or in a rush. If you accidentally place one of your vape batteries into the station upside down, the i4 will terminate all charging and notify the user with four LED lights (see above).
