Just when you thought SMOK couldn't do it again: they did. Here is the SMOK Nord 4, the latest pod device in the growing dynasty of SMOK's superior pod devices. While SMOK has paid homage to its predecessors by keeping the style and visual inspiration similar, the Nord 4 boasts impressive tech and exciting new features. Here we have it all broken down for you. This is the SMOK Nord 4. 

First things first: the exterior. SMOK has found the perfect balance of tradition and experimentation by designing their pod kit generations in line with their ancestors, but continuously creating new color schemes and patterns for their new releases. The Nord 4 is no exception. There are eight colorful options to choose from within the original Nord 4 series, as well as a chic leather series. 

Nearly every groundbreaking feature from the Nord X - the Nord 4's predecessor - has been analyzed, upgraded, and used to develop the Nord 4. First, the Nord 4 is a few millimeters larger, yet still tiny enough to slip into a pocket or purse when you're on the go. It may also be larger to contain its battery - a staggering 2000mAh compared to the Nord X's 1500mAh. This means longer use and less charging. And speaking of charging, the Nord 4 uses a Type-C cable instead of the Nord X's standard USB. Type-C is widely regarded for its incredibly fast charge time, often just about an hour from dead to a full charge.

Another major difference is the output. While the Nord X maxed out at 60W, the Nord 4 can reach 80W.

The Nord 4 kit includes two pods with two different coils already pre-installed. You'll receive the RPM 2 Mesh 0.16ohm coil as well as the RPM Mesh 0.4ohm coil. Depending on your preference between MTL or DTL, vapor production, and wattage preferences, these are good options to have.

When it's time to replace your coils, if you prefer a softer hit via mouth-to-lung and prefer a lower wattage, you'll want to stick with the SMOK RPM replacement coil, but if huge vapor clouds and intense flavor from direct lung inhalation is more your style, use the RPM 2 replacement coil.

If the Nord 4 has a battery with the power to last all day, then it needs enough juice to match. And it does. The SMOK Nord 4 pods hold up to 4.5ml of e-liquid, which is truly insane for a pod device of this size. Refilling is simple as can be, as well.

The SMOK Nord 4 kit comes with absolutely everything needed to begin use as soon as you open the box! Each kit contains the Nord 4 device, 2 pods already pre-installed with both of the above-mentioned coils, as well as a Type-C coil to charge.
